Boback, Pickett, Fritz to Co-Host Gun Law Seminar May 5

HARRISBURG – In their continuing effort to better inform the public regarding Pennsylvania’s firearms laws, Reps. Karen Boback (R-Lackawanna/Luzerne/Wyoming), Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna) and Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) are co-hosting a Gun Law Seminar in Laceyville on Thursday, May 5. The free event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Black Walnut American Legion, 328 Route 6 Road. Doors will open to attendees at 5:30 p.m.

HARRISBURG – Recognizing the ongoing challenges faced by Pennsylvania’s frontline health care workers, Reps. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna) and Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) on Wednesday joined their House colleagues in supporting the allocation of $225 million in federal COVID-19 relief funding to hospitals statewide, including two in Susquehanna County. The bill was then signed into law by the governor as Act 2 of 2022.

Montrose Area School District Receives Farm to School Grant, Say Pickett, Fritz

Baker, Fritz Partner to Deliver $500,000 for Honesdale Borough Stormwater Mitigation Project

Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) announced Honesdale Borough will receive $500,000 in state grant money from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for its Vine Street Stormwater Mitigation Project following a meeting with officials from the borough and Wayne County.

Fritz, Baker Announce Herrick Township and Forest City to Benefit from Over $370,000 in State Funding for Local Improvement Projects

HARRISBURG– Today, Rep. Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) and Sen. Lisa Baker (R-Luzerne/Monroe/Pike/Susquehanna/Wayne/Wyoming) announced that Herrick Township will be awarded over $75,334 in state funding for the Herrick Park improvement project through the Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program. Forest City Borough also will receive $302,879 in state funding for the Forest City sidewalk project through the Multimodal Transportation Fund. The funding was approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) this past Wednesday.
